Middleburgh Winery is a farm winery offering multiple red and white varieties of wine for your tasting pleasure. The wines are made on-site with the grapes grown in the beautiful vineyards rolling down the hillside. Enjoy the view, relax and escape a bit, and discover your taste for wine! Any day we are not open, you can make an appointment to stop in for bottle purchases. Tastings are not available when we are not open.
Closed: Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day.

Seyval Blanc

Imagine biting into a green Granny Smith apple. A nice apple tart that’s clean and crisp. Our 2021 vintage took a silver medal in the 2022 NY Wine Classic.
Riesling

Riesling, Dry (green label) 2021 NY Wine Classic Bronze Medal.Not your typical Riesling flavors. Light and crisp, slightly acidic with a hint of lemon at the finish.
Riesling, Semi (pink label) More on the dry side of semi, less acidic and a little smoother. Think strawberry - not full on ripe strawberry, but that just before ripe strawberry.
Riesling, Sweet (yellow label) Melon on the nose and the tongue with a smooth mandarin orange finish.
Cayuga White

This is our citrus tasting wine. Think grapefruit and lemon zest. A discerning palate may pick up a hint of pear.
St Pepin Dry

A silver medal from the 2022 NY Wine Classic. Lightly oaked for a slight woodsy tone. Hints of sour pear. If you like oaked Chardonnay or Chablis this is your wine.
St Pepin Sweet

This wine was put through a malolactic fermentation to give it the buttery-mouth feel on the tongue. Think clover honey as you sip.
Noble White

This is a blend of Melody and Edelweiss grapes. Sweet grapiness with a full floral nose.

A blend of Diamond and Himrod grapes. Diamond comes at you full on grape and Himrod gives you a hint of ginger at the end.
Cabernet Franc

Our 2021 vintage was awarded a Gold Medal in the 2022 NY Wine Classic. Wisps of vanilla bean on the nose. Tones of black raspberry or blackberry. This estate grown grape afforded us our first Gold Medal!
Noiret

A 2022 Estate Reserve vintage that boasts cherry blossom and hints of black pepper on the nose. A leathery tongue smothered in bramble flavors. Our 2019 vintage received a Silver Medal in the NY Wine Classic.
Marquette Dry

Our 2021 vintage was aged in new American Oak Barrel, medium toast. Cherry blossom on the nose leading to a smokey plum forward with a snappy fresh cranberry finish. This wine is lightly filtered, so expect some wine diamonds in the bottom of the bottle. This is very similar to it’s grandfather grape, Pinot Noir.

Our 2019 estate Foch received a Silver Medal in the 2022 NY Wine Classic. The 2020 vintage gives a deep and intense red with cherry licorice on the nose and red currant berry on the palate. If you’re looking for the perfect red to take to dinner, this is it!
Middleburgh Red

A blend of St. Croix and Concord grapes. St. Croix gives a bold burgundy color. Concord weaves in a fruitiness that you expect to be grape, but it’s cherry. Pair with chocolate to bring that cherry flavor out.

Sweet Lucy

While this may remind you of your childhood concord grape juice, don’t let it sneak up on you, it’s about 11% alcohol content.This wine is designed to be as sweet as our black lab winery greeter, Lucy. Come and visit her!
Schoharie Valley Red

This is a blend of Geneva Red and Corot Noir. Full red berry flavors come through. Think Bing cherry, red raspberry, strawberry fruitiness. If you like Sangria, this is your red.
Blueberry Dry

A Silver Medal in the 2022 NY WIne Classic. This wine will take you to Maine and the wild blueberries that grow on the ground there - tiny, tangy, tart, but still very blueberry.
Blueberry Sweet
